Connecting to the EPV Alueverkko network
If you are planning to build new production or consumption facilities within the EPV Alueverkko network area, please fill out the EPV Alueverkko connection enquiry form.
Your connection inquiry should include the following information:
- Connection type: Select whether this concerns Electricity production, Electricity consumption, or Electricity production and consumption. For production, select the specific form of production, and for consumption, the form of consumption.
- Location: Add a point and an area to the map using the functions in the top menu.
- Connection inquiry: Indicate the capacity requirement (MW), a more detailed description of the connection, and the schedule.
- Attachments: You may attach an illustrative image of the project’s location on the map. Adding attachments is optional.
- Contact information: Add the necessary contact information before submitting the inquiry form.
Please note that determining the connection feasibility also requires checking the transmission possibilities of the transmission system operator, Fingrid Oyj, which may affect the processing time and the realization of the connection. Additionally, EPV Alueverkko performs its own simulation regarding the connection’s effects on its electricity network, and a decision on the potential realization of the connection will be made based on these results.
EPV Alueverkko Capacity Map Service
In the EPV Alueverkko capacity map service, you can view the national location and technical data of the company’s networks. The map service can be utilized, for example, when preparing new connection inquiries.
The map includes details such as:
- Location of substations and power lines
- Substation type
- Status (whether the substation or power line is in use)
- Available consumption and production capacity (MW)
