EPV Alueverkko is responsible for the efficient functioning of the network’s electricity system. Our job is to ensure that the electricity transmitted is of high quality and reliable.
The new Laajametsä-Finne 1 and 2 power lines will support the electricity supply to the GigaVaasa industrial area in the future. Developing the area’s electricity transmission is one of EPV Alueverkko’s most important projects of the year.
Construction of the substation in Heinineva, Lapua, took roughly 10 months and enables the electricity generated by the EPV solar farm to be transmitted into the main grid. This will start in September.
