GigaVaasa’s electricity transmission is nearing operational readiness

The new Laajametsä-Finne 1 and 2 power lines will support the electricity supply to the GigaVaasa industrial area in the future. Developing the area’s electricity transmission is one of EPV Alueverkko’s most important projects of the year.

EPV Alueverkko distributes electricity from Fingrid’s national grid and power plants to the region’s other network companies and large-scale industry. We are also responsible for the efficient functioning of the network’s electricity system.
