Connection inquiries and grid capacity

Connecting to the EPV Alueverkko network
Your connection inquiry should include the following information:
- Project developer
- The line or substation to which the project is intended to be connected. If this is unknown, please include a map of the area.
- Whether it is a production or consumption facility
- Capacity requirement (MW)
- Project timeline: when is the planned start date and when would the project be complete?
We aim to respond to inquiries within approximately one month.
Please note that investigating the connection also requires checking the transmission possibilities with the national grid company Fingrid Oyj, which may affect the processing time. Additionally, EPV Alueverkko will perform its own grid simulation to assess the impacts of the connection.
