Map service launched on EPV Alueverkko’s website

Capacity map service supports project developers in production and consumption across different generation types when preparing connection inquiries for suitable connection areas.

A new Louhi capacity map service has been published on EPV Alueverkko’s website. The map service visually illustrates the nationwide locations of the company’s power lines and substations. It supports project developers in production and consumption across different generation types when preparing connection inquiries for suitable connection areas.

“The Energy Authority has required network companies to publish their production and consumption capacities on their websites, which led to the launch of this new map service. The service brings appropriate transparency to our business and makes the connection inquiry process more straightforward between EPV Alueverkko and project developers. In the future, the published map service can also be developed further to provide even more versatile information,” says Juha Saarela, Operations Manager at EPV Alueverkko.

The EPV Alueverkko map service and the new connection inquiry site can be found under the Connection inquiries and capacity page.
